This photography trip covered Makatu to Whakatane. I spent my first 24 years growing up in the Bay of Plenty so this trip was to reconect with my home towns.

PHOTOGRAPHER NOTES:

The photographic views of Whale island are best seen from Thornton beach or Whakatane heads. The White island shots where taken from Ohope lookout. Please note White sland is 50km away so you may need telephoto lens.
